Pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M36- o. M40'-pattern- and/or 'pointed-styled'), neatly 'cyphered' shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel einer Infanterie Lehr-Bataillons o. Rgts.'
This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. pre-) war-period, so-called: 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (pointed-styled), neatly 'cyphered'- (and/or per regulation non-piped!) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel einer Infanterie Lehr-Bataillons o. Regiments' (or: NCO ie. sergeant first-class who served within an army-infantry training ie. instruction battalion or regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The somewhat broader-shaped shoulderstraps - which are approximately 11 cms. sized in length each - do show the darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and 'standard'-pattern, silver-toned NCO-braid period-attached. The straps show the neat (silver-toned, Gothic-styled, regular-sized- and/or aluminium-based) so-called: 'L'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and two pairs of (smaller-sized- and equally aluminium-based) pips period-attached. All six devices are nicely preserved but do show some obvious age and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which came mounted onto their functional tongues and that came with a pair of bright-silver-toned company-buttons (showing the numeral '7') show as stated above only minimal usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). This pair originates from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel einer Infanterie Lehr-Bataillons o. Regiments'!
