Pair of WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers-pattern shoulderboards: 'Leutnant der Infanterie-Trpn. u. Mitglied des Div.Stabs der 2. Infanterie-Div.'

This is a truly attractive - fully matching and with certainty scarcely seen! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) officers-pattern shoulderboards as piped in the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour that was intended for - and just minimally used and/or worn by! - a: 'Leutnant der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied des Divisionsstabs der 2. Infanterie-Division' (or: junior infantry-officer who served within the divisional-headquarters of the infantry-division, numbered: '2') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem just moderatelyy used ie. worn-), condition. The boards do show the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the 'smooth-type'- ie. 'moleskin-type'-wool as to be expected). They come mounted onto their smaller-sized (officers'-type) tongues attached (as can be seen on the pictures) and measure approximately 11,2 cms. in length each. The boards are clear examples of a 'standard-issued'-pattern pair and do show a fully matching pair of (scarcely seen, Gothic-styled, larger-sized, bright golden-toned and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'D'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and a pair of (equally-styled and smaller-sized) '2'-numerals period-attached denoting that the officer who wore this set held the rank of a: 'Leutnant' (ie. lieutnant) who served within the divisional-staff of the: 'Infanterie-Regiment 2' (as can be seen on the pictures). Taking into account the fact that this pair has the somewhat 'sub-dued'-type 'upperdecks' I deem that it was a pair that was intended to be used on a regular 'front-tunic'. This pair originates from an advanced shoulderboard- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive - and truly scarcely seen! - WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied des Divisionsstabs der 2. Infanterie-Division' and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
