N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' being a maker- (ie. 'S&L'-) marked example depicting an eagle-device resting on a swastika and various provincial shields surrounded by the text: 'Kreistreffen N.S.D.A.P. - Paderborn - 16. u. 17. Okt. 1937'
The neat day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in (light-weight) aluminium-based metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age. The shield-shaped day-badge depicts an eagle-device resting on a swastika and various provincial (ie. towns-) shields surrounded by the text: 'Kreistreffen N.S.D.A.P. - Paderborn - 16. u. 17. Okt. 1937' and comes mounted onto its functional pin-/catch set-up and was simply never cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is quite detailed and retains a fair bit of its shiny and/or silver-coloured finish. It should be noted that all N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'- or town) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'. I deem that this attractive example is accordingly priced!
