Superb - and matching! - pair of early- (ie. mid-) war-period so-called: 'M40 o. M41'-pattern, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the 'bordeaux'-coloured branchcolour as intended for a: 'Feldwebel eines (Nebel)Werfer-Rgts. o. Abtlgs.'
The truly attractive - fully 'text-book' and in all respects matching! - pair of 'standard-issued'- (ie. most certainly 'non-privately-purchased'!) pattern, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps is piped in the desirable, neat darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour and measures approximately 12,4 cms. in length each. The straps have the desirable darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured- and/or: woolen-type piping attached (as is more often encountered with these early-war-period shoulderstrap-pairs) and was as such intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines (Nebel)Werfer-Regiments o. Abteilungs' (or: NCO and sergeant who served within an army smoke-troops unit ie. regiment). The shoulderstraps are typical 'standard-issued'-examples that have the darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks': they shows the typical ('standard-issue'-pattern, silver-toned) NCO-braid and a pair of (aluminium-based and regular-sized) pips period-attached (as can be noticed on the pictures). The straps were - I deem - just minimally used ie. worn and do show some truly minimal wear, age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues. These desirable 'M40- o. 41'-pattern, army 'Nebelwerfer'-related NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour can nowadays easily be graded 'rare'. Simply a very attractive - and fully matching! – NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that belonged a: 'Feldwebel eines (Nebel)Werfer-Regiments o. Abteilungs' and that is priced according to its unmistaken rarity and/or desirability!
