Superb - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern and neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel des Kav. o. Aufklärungs-Schützen-Regiments 2'

This is a truly very attractive - and with certainty not that easily found and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern (and neatly 'cyphered'!) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') having the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel des Kavallerie o. Aufklärungs-Schützen-Regiments 2' (or: NCO and sergeant who served within a specific cavalry- ie. reconnaisance regiment or unit) and that comes in overall very nice- (albeit minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 11,7 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: field-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and desirable 'silk-like'-pattern piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps have the silver-coloured (ie. minimally sub-dued and typical 'standard-pattern') NCO-braid attached and show a matching pair of the neat (silver-toned, Gothic-styled, smaller-sized- and/or zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based) 'S'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern'), a pair of equally-styled '2'-numerals and two (regular-sized- and also zinc-based) pips period-attached denoting the rank ie. function a: 'Feldwebel des Kavallerie o. Aufklärungs-Schützen-Regiments 2'. The pair - that came from my private shoulderstrap-collection - comes mounted onto its original tongues and does show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining: moreover, does one of the straps show an inked numeral on its underside that reads: 'N49' (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive and fairly early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'Heeres' NCO-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel des Kavallerie o. Aufklärungs-Schützen-Regiments 2': I deem that I have priced this truly very attractive pair, accordingly!
