Attractive - nicely preserved and totally undamaged! - so-called: 'Preussischer Roter Adler Orden der 4. Stufe' (or: Prussian Order of the Red Eagle 4th class) being an example that (I deem) originated from the period 1871-1875
This is a truly attractive - and actually quite scarcely found! - example of a so-called: Prussian Order of the Red Eagle 4th class (ie. 'Preussischer Roter Adler Orden der 4. Stufe') being an example that (I deem) originated from the period 1871-1875 and that came together with its period (minimally confectioned- ie. somewhat shortened and approximately 13 cms. long-sized) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') as issued ie. worn. The award is executed in (minimally blackened- ie. somewhat tarnished) silver-based metal and has very pronounced detail as to be expected. The piece retains its colourful (enamelled ie. - I deem - hand-painted!) centre-piece showing the bright-red-coloured eagle-device. The piece is totally void of any enamel damage and was never cleaned nor polished. Simply a very nice specimen of this interesting Prussian award that is with certainty accordingly priced!
