Attractive - and actually unusally seen! - single-pieced and neatly detachable, WH single-pieced medal-bar (ie. 'Orden- o. Einzelspange') showing a: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal)

The truly very attractive - and actually in this single-pieced set-up scarcely encountered! - WH medal-bar (ie. 'Orden- o. Einzelspange') showing a: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal) that comes period-mounted as a (detachable!) 'Einzelspange' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit issued- and I deem only minimally worn-), condition. The medal retains most (ie. all!) of its truly darker-bronze-coloured finish and has never been cleaned nor polished: it is simply a tiny bit dirty and retains truly fantastic and/or pronounced detail. The 'Westwall'-medal - which is a neat 'Buntmetall'-based specimen - has an attractive golden-bronze-coloured age-patina (simply caused by decades of storage) and was most certainly never cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. The 'Spange' just shows some minimal dirt and/or dust acquired over the years: the ribbon shows some equal minor usage and/or staining. The 'Spange' has truly very nice detail and is 'backed' with a piece of greyis-coloured wool (that shows some moth-damage) and still retains its (still fully functional) pin-ie. catch set-up. Simply a very attractive, WWII-period 'Orden- o. Einzelspange' having a not that often seen set-up: great to decorate almost any tunic!
