Attractive - and nicely preserved! - 'Buntmetall'-based, DRK (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' or German Red Cross) nurses'-helpers-badge entitled: 'Schwesternhelferin' (being an example that shows a: 'Ges.Gesch.'- patent-pending-designation
The truly attractive - and very nicely preserved! - silvered 'Buntmetall'-based, so-called: DRK (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' or German Red Cross) nurses'-helpers ie. 'Schwesternhelferin'-badge is made out of (minimally darkened- ie. somewhat tarnished) silverish-grey-coloured- (and truly nicely enamelled!) zinc (ie. 'Feinzink') and has a truly immaculate enamelled surface (no damage whatsoever can be noticed: just some obvious wear-marks are present and/or visible: moreover, is just a tiny bit dirty ie. stained). The badge is a non-maker-marked example that shows a clear: 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending-designation on its back (as can be seen on the photos). The badge is only moderately used and/or worn: it was never cleaned nor polished and comes of course mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch (-set-up). A similar example is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken lapel-pin-catalogue, wherein it is given the unique reference-number: '5613XB'. These attractive DRK-badges were also worn by the Germanic ie. European volunteers. Simply an attractive 'Buntmetall'-based example that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
