Superb - fully matching albeit clearly used! - white-piped, so-called: 'Reiter-HJ' (ie. 'HJ-Streifendienst') shoulderstrap-pair as was intended for a: 'HJ-Gefolgschaftsführer' who was attached to the: 'Bann 273' (273 = Kalenberg (Hannover-Süd)
This is an attractive - fully matching and truly scarcely encountered! - white-piped, so-called: 'Reiter-HJ' (ie. 'HJ-Streifendienst') (ie. mounted 'Hitlerjugend') shoulderstrap-pair as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'HJ-Gefolgschaftsführer' who was attached to the: 'Bann 273' (273 = Kalenberg (Hannover-Süd) in the 'Gebiet' Nord-Niedersachsen) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately ie. clearly used- and/or worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The straps - executed in black-coloured linnen, having the white-embroidered '273'-numerals and white-coloured- (and typical rayon-like) piping attached - come without tongues attached as found: they were clearly used as such (as can be seen on the pictures). One of the straps still retains its paper-based 'RzM'-etiket (something that is more often but most certainly not always the case). The straps show some normal age and wear and measure approximately 11 cms. in length as usually encountered. Both straps show three (silverish-grey-coloured, identical- and/or aluminium-based) pips period-attached, denoting the unusually seen rank of an: 'HJ-Gefolgschaftsführer': of additional interest is, morever, the fact that this pair once had two stripes of horizontally-mounted rank-braid attached (thus making it a pair that was used by a: 'HJ-Hauptgefolgschaftsführer') but for unknown reasons (demotion?) these stripes were period-removed (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that often-encountered! - youth-related shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'HJ-Gefolgschaftsführer' and that is I deem) priced according to its unmistaken rarity and/or desirability!
