Female-related, enlisted- (ie. NCO-) pattern-, so-called: 'RADwJ'-sleeve-badge (ie. 'Abzeichen des Reichsarbeitsdienst der weiblichen Jugend') being a clearly worn example as executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave-pattern
This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - female-related, enlisted- (ie. NCO-) pattern, so-called: 'RADwJ'-sleeve-badge (ie. 'Abzeichen des Reichsarbeitsdienst der weiblichen Jugend') being an example as executed in neat so-called: 'BeVo'-weave-pattern and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit surely used- and/or carefully tunic-removed- ie. once worn-), condition. The badge is neatly white- (ie. black-) coloured having a typical, darker-toned brownish-coloured background and was intended for a female RADwJ-staff-member: it was clearly worn and shows some minimal staining and was (once) carefully trimmed ie. confectioned (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example shows the (Roman-styled) numerals: 'XVII' (signifying that it was an example that was worn by a member of the 17th region ie. department ie. 'Bezirk'). The badge is not maker-marked (as is more commonly encountered: most of the copied examples show a full and interwoven logo whereas this example is of course a garuanteed orginal and used example). It should be noted that excellent copies of these badges do exist: this is naturally a genuine-, period example that originated from a German private-household. Simply a neat - and truly scarcely encountered! - enlisted- (ie. NCO-) pattern RADwJ-related arm-badge!
