  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (pairs)

The very attractive - and I deem hardly used and/or carefully tunic-removed! - shoulderboards are typical, 'text-book'-examples of the Heeres'-type, officers'-pattern shoulderboards and have the silverish-grey- (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-type-) 'upperdecks': they were most certainly once tunic-attached and show some minimal age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards show the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the 'smooth-type'- ie. 'moleskin-type'-wool as to be expected). The boards come mounted onto their smaller-sized (officers'-type) tongues attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards measure approximately 10,6 cms. in length each and show a fully matching pair of (golden-bronze-toned, larger-sized- and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based) pips period-attached (as can be seen on the pictures) denoting that the officer who wore this set held the rank of: 'Oberleutnant' (ie. lieutnant first-class) who served within an: 'Infanterie-Regiment' or unit. Taking into account the fact that this pair has the somewhat 'sub-dued'-type 'upperdecks' I deem that it was a pair that was intended to be used on a regular 'front-tunic'. Simply a very attractive WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair that belonged to an: 'Oberleutnant eines Infanterie-Regiments' and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
