Neat, 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber' being a scarcely seen, non-maker-marked- and/or zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen as was presumably procuded by the desirable: 'Ernst L. Müller'-company

This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of an: 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or silver-class infantry-assault-badge ie. IAB) being a non-maker-marked- and/or zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen as was presumably procuded by the desirable: 'Ernst L. Müller'-company and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly issued- and/or worn-), condition. The badge is a typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based example that is quite darkened and or tarnished: it has lost most of its silver-coloured finish and has a typical, 'Feinzink'-like age-patina and is somewhat dirty ie. stained. This particular example comes naturally mounted onto its functional (thin-shaped- and/or silver-coloured) pin which shows a typical mounting and/or catch as to be expected for an IAB by this maker. The piece is very detailed and retains a very pronounced appearance: the award shows as stated above some staining caused by moderate wear and decades of storage: it was, however, most certainly never cleaned nor polished. It should be noted that IABs by the: 'Ernst L. Müller'-company in Pforzheim are hard too find and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. The award on offet here originated from a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply an attractive and scarcely seen IAB that is with certainty accordingly priced!
