Superb - 'quality-produced' and unusually 'slantwise-mounted'! - 4-pieced medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') by the 'J. Reimann'-company showing various WWI- and/or TR-period awards
The truly very attractive - 'quality-produced' and unusually 'slantwise-mounted'! - WWI- (ie. TR-) period medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') respectively shows (from top to bottom) a: WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross second class), a bronze-toned WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern'), a neatly silvered: 'Treuedienst Ehrenzeichen 2. Klasse' (or: silver-class, loyal-service-medal for 25 yrs. of loyal civil-service) and an Austrian '1914-18' commemorative medal, all four awards coming in an overall very nice- (and I deem only moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. All four awards are truly nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: they come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty (ie. used) condition and come naturally mounted on their period ribbons. The entire 'Spange' (which is of the 'non-detachable-pattern') comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and is 'backed' with a piece of field-grey-coloured wool (which shows a neat aluminium-based makers'-etiket that shows the text: 'J. Reimann - Ordenshaus - Berlin W8 - Friedenstr. 188' (as can be seen on the pictures). This attractive medal-bar was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike and was kept as such for decades. Simply an attractive - and truly decorative! - four-pieced- and unusually 'slantwise-mounted'-medal-bar by a desirable maker- (ie. tailor) that is not that easily found and that is most certainly accordingly priced!
