Attractive - bright-golden-toned- and/or metal-based - so-called: 'Reichsfinanzverwaltung-Zollgrenzschutz'-related armshield being a hardly used example that is bearing the stamped (unique) serial-number: '8435'

This is an attractive - and actually not that easily found! - metal- (ie. I deem copper- or zinc-) based and/or bright-golden-toned so-called: 'Reichsfinanzverwaltung-Zollgrenzschutz'- (ie. national finance-administration ie. customs border-guard) related armshield (ie. 'Ärmelschild') being a hardly- (or even never!) used example that is bearing the stamped (unique) serial-number: '8435' and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved, condition. The fairly large-sized and oval-shaped shield (approximately measuring 8,5 x 7 cms.) shows a pronounced (and left-facing) typical 'Zollgrenzschutz'-related eagle-device with above the text: 'Reichsfinanzverwaltung-Zollgrenzschutz' and on its bottom the (unique) impressed bearers'- (ie. serial-) number that reads: '8435' (as can be seen on the pictures). These arm-shields were worn on the upper-arm of the 'Zollgrenzschutz'-uniforms. The piece on offer here shows some obvious age, wear and/or staining but was in my opinion never cleaned. I am convinced that this unusually seen 'Reichsfinanzverwaltung-Zollgrenzschutz'-armshield is accordingly priced!
