Commemorative, blackened-aluminium-based N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' depicting a: 'Deutschland Erwache'-banner surrounded by the text: '10 jährige Wiederkehr des Reichsparteitages Weimar - 1938'
The neat day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in (blackened) alluminium-based metal: it only shows moderate wear and/or age but nevertheless retains most (ie. all) of its black toned finish without showing any defaults (it just shows some minimal staining as can be seen on the pictures). The badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is quite detailed and was issued to commemorate the ten-years existence of the: 'N.S.D.A.P. Reichsparteitag' held in the town of Weimar in the year 1938. The piece shows a clear makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'G. Danner - Mühlhausen/Thür.' coupled with an: 'RzM- M9/32'-designation (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that his attractive N.S.D.A.P.-related 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' - which is regular-sized and that has an approximate diameter of 3,8 cms. - is actually not that easily encountered and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce': even more so in this nicely preserved condition. A surely unusual and decorative 'N.S.D.A.P.'-related tinnie!
