This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - WH (Kriegsmarine) (bright)golden-toned, so-called: career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Dienstgrad-Abzeichen') as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberzimmermannsmaat' (ie. senior naval-carpenter) and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem propbably issued- albeit simply never worn nor tunic-attached, condition. The badge - that comes complete with it metal-based 'backing-plate and that retains all its prongs in place - is additionally 'backed' with a piece of darker-blue-toned linnen - and comes mounted onto a piece of darker-blue-coloured wool (and was as such intended for usage onto the blue-coloured navel attire). It depicts a golden-toned (metal-based) anchor and compass and also shows a single chevron (denoting senior-status). The piece is just a tiny bit stained ie. tarnished simply caused by decades of storage. Simply a neat WH (Kriegsmarine) related 'Dienstgrad-Abzeichen' as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberzimmermannsmaat' and that is accordingly priced!
