Attractive - and not that easily encountered! - 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 2nd Class) being a clearly maker- (ie. '24'-) marked example as was produced by the: 'AG der Hanauer Plakettenhersteller'
This is a neat - and fully untouched and still nicely preserved! - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 2nd Class) being a clearly marker- (ie. '24'-) marked example as was produced by the company: 'Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hanauer Plakettenhersteller' as was based in the town of Hanau am Main (ie. 'Hersteller 24') and that comes in an overall nice- (and surely issued-), condition. The piece has never been cleaned and shows a nice (blackened- and somewhat 'satin-like'-) patina and shows an undamaged, black-coloured inner-core-section. The cross shows some regular age, wear and/or staining and comes together with its once-mounted, folded and confectioned (ie. approximately 19 cms. long-sized) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschitt') as issued and/or stored for decades. As stated above, has the cross great and very fine detail: it is just truly 'tarnished' over the years and has never been cleaned (it is just a tiny bit stained ie. dusty). Simply an attractive, maker-marked 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' that was produced by the by the: 'AG der Hanauer Plakettenhersteller'!
