Unusual - and most certainly very decorative! - N.S.F.K.-related so-called: 'Bronzerne Teilnehmerplakette - Deutschlandflug - 1938' being a nicely preserved (but minimally damaged) example bearing the unique serial-number: '7826'
This is a very decorative - and most certainly unusually encountered but regrettably minimally damaged! - reddish-bronze-toned, N.S.F.K.- (ie. 'National-Sozialistisches Fliegerkorps'-) related-, so-called: 'Bronzerne Teilnehmerplakette - Deutschlandflug - 1938' (or: non-portable award-plaque or table-medal) that is bearing the unique serial-number: '7826' and that comes as stored for decades and that comes in an overall nice condition. The piece - which shows the specific N.S.F.K.-eagle- (ie. 'fliegender Mensch'-) device and is executed in golden-bronze-toned- and/or light-weight- (ie. aluminium-based) so-called: 'Leichtmetall' and is quite largely-sized (it measures 8 cms. from top to bottom and is approximately 10 cms. wide). It deals with a so-called: 'Teilnehmer-plakette' (or: non-portable participation-medal) which was awarded for the participation within a specific N.S.F.K.-related-match called the: 'Deutschlandflug', which was held in the year 1938. The plaque - which stll shows extraordinary detail and has a great age-patina - shows some truly minimal usage (I deem simply caused by decades of storage and/or: fair handling over the years) but retains a truly superb appearance. The piece shows as stated above some minimal 'bubbling' on its back only (as can be seen on the pictures). Still an attractive 'N.S.F.K.'-related-award that is I deem accordingy priced!
