Neat - and not that often seen! - example of a 'standard-issue'-type, WH (Kriegsmarine) rank-chevron (or: 'Armwinkel') as was intended for usage on the various darker-blue-coloured naval tunics as was intended for an: 'Matrosen-Oberstabsgefreiter'

This is an attractive - and I deem simply never used- nor worn! - example of a 'standard-issue'-type, WH (Kriegsmarine) rank-chevron (or: 'Armwinkel') as was specifically intended for usage on the various darker-blue-coloured naval tunics as was specifically intended for usage by an: an: 'Matrosen-Oberstabsgefreiter' (ie. seaman 1st class having 8 service-years) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem issued- albeit simply never used- nor tunic-attached-), condition. The rank-chevron is executed on typical darker-blue-coloured and/or woolen-based cloth and shows a double stripe of the neatlty twisted, golden-yellow-coloured and machine-embroidered naval NCO-braid and an equally executed and golden-yellow-toned pip attached. The piece - that is not additionally 'backed' - shows some minimal storage-age and/or staining and does show some minimal glue- ie carton-remains caused by having been glued into an album or scrapbook once (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a nice occasion to obtain an - actually not that often seen! - WH (Kriegsmarine o. Küstenartillerie) rank-chevron for a justified price!
