Attractive - and fairly large-sized! - example of a (typical) linnen-based WH 'Heeres'-related sport-shirt badge (ie. 'Brustadler für Sportanzug') as was executed in the neat 'BeVo-weave pattern
This is an attractive - fairly large-sized- and typically linnen-based - example of a WH 'Heeres'-related sport-shirt badge (ie. 'Brustadler für Sportanzug') as was executed in the neat 'BeVo-weave pattern and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. somewhat stained but nevertheless 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'- and/or I deem never shirt-attached-) condition. These decorative badges were worn on the specific naval, linnen-based sport-shirts and/or related garments. The badge is of the larger-sized version (measuring: 27 x 14,5 cms.) and is neatly executed in the so-called 'BeVo'-weave technique. The piece - which shows an interwoven, black-coloured national eagle-device on a beige-white-coloured- and/or linnen-based background - is just a tiny bit wrinkled and shows some minor aging ie. (rust)staining caused by regular handling and/or storage for decades. It was simply never 'cut'-, trimmed- nor pre-folded and is as stated above just a tiny bit stained caused by decades of storage only. Simply a nice opportunity to acquire a neat 'Heeres'-related sportshirt breast-eagle for a competitive price!
