Stunning - and luxuriously styled! - HJ- ie. BDM (ie. 'Hitlerjugend' or: 'Bund Deutscher Mädel') related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') being a golden-toned- and/or 'Feinzink'-based example as issued to commemorate the: 'Reichskampf Hamburg 1938'
This is a very attractive - and actually very rarely encountered and truly luxuriously styled! - HJ- ie. BDM (ie. 'Hitlerjugend' or: 'Bund Deutscher Mädel') related, commemorative day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') being a bright-silverish-toned- and light-weight, (I deem) zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based example as was issued to commemorate a specific (national!) youth-rally ie. gathering named the: 'Reichsberufs-Wettkampf der Deutschen Jugend' that was held in the year 1938 and that is entitled: 'Reichskampf Hamburg 1938' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge truly shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished. The - as more often non-maker-marked - piece shows a detailed illustration of the Hamburg-based tower (ie. 'Hamburger Tor') and eagle-device (holding a so-called, enamelled: miniature 'HJ-Raute') with above that the years'-designation (1938) and (Gothic-styled) text as mentioned above. The badge comes naturally mounted onto its (functional and totally unaltered) pin-/catch set-up. Simply a very attractive - and with certainty rarely seen! - youth-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is truly not that often offered for sale!
