Attractive - and/or fully matching! - WH (Heeres), officers'-type shoulderboard-pair (that comes mounted on its unsually seen: 'Auf der Steg'-mounting!) as was intended for a: 'Hauptmann eines Infanterie-Regiments'

This is a truly very attractive - and/or fully matching! - WH (Heeres), officers'-type shoulderboard-pair (that comes mounted on its unsually seen: 'Auf der Steg'-mounting!) and that is piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann eines Infanterie-Regiments' (or: army-captain who served in an infantry regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem just minimally used ie. worn- and/or tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboards come mounted on their seldomly seen 'Auf der Steg'-set-up ie. mounting and where most likely used onto a white-coloured- (or: summer-type-) tunic. They are truly 'text-book'-examples of the 'Heeres'-type 'Infanterie'-shoulderboards and have the bright-silver- (ie. somewhat shiny-) 'upperdecks'. The boards show the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour (and are constructed from the smooth- ie. 'moleskin'-type wool). The boards show each two (larger-sized, golden-toned- and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based- albeit minimally tarnished-) pips period-attached, denoting the officers'-rank of: 'Hauptmann' or: captain. The boards measure approximately 10,5 cms. in length each and came with a (matching) pair of pebbled-styled, silver-toned shoulderboard-buttons. The pair was most certainly used and/or worn as such and does show some minimal age, wear and/or staining. Simply a very attractive - and comparatively scarcely encountered! - officers'-type, 'Infanterie'-related shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Hauptmann eines Infanterie-Regiments'!
