Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war-period- (ie. 'M36 o. M40'-pattern) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for - and worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel des (Nebel)Werfer-Rgts. 53'

This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres), early-war-period- (ie. 'M36 o. M40'-pattern) so-called: 'privately-purchased' and/or neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as piped in the neat darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Nebelwerfer-Regiments 53' (or: sergeant first-class who served within the army smoke-troops regiment, numbered '53') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or smooth-woolen-based 'upperdecks' are 'textbook' in all facets. They show the neat darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured (and/or: typical rayon-type-) piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps which measure approximately 10,3 cms. in length each come naturally mounted onto their functional (and typical thin-shaped) tongues (which are unusually constructed from wool as more often). The shoulderstraps show the 'standard'-type, silverish-yellow-coloured (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued') NCO-braid and two pairs of (matching, regular-sized and/or aluminium-based) pips attached denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Oberfeldwebel' (ie. sergeant first-class). Next to this do they show two (larger-sized,fully matching and equally aluminium-based) pairs of '5'- and/or '3'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') attached. The straps show - as stated above - only moderate usage ie. wear (some age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present as can be seen on the pictures). The straps are constructed from so-called: 'boiled-wool' and are (I deem) a typical pair that originates from a private tailor-shop. I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire an attractive - and most certainly desirable! - NCO-type 'Nebelwerfer'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
