Attractive - and scarely seen! - WH (KM) related breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften u. Uffz. der Kriegsmarine') being a 'standard-issue'-pattern-example as executed in the 'BeVo'-weave-pattern on a white-coloured background
This is a neat example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) related breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften u. Uffz. der Kriegsmarine') being a 'standard-pattern-example as executed in the 'BeVo'-weave-pattern on a white-coloured background and that comes in a very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The piece - which is of the pattern that was worn on the various white-coloured tunics and attire throughout the second world war - comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' condition and comes 'as straightly cut-off the role'. It is nicely woven in darker-blue-toned linnen and is executed on a typical, beige- ie. white-coloured- (and also linnen-based-) background. The piece just shows some minor staining simply caused by years of storage only. Moreover, does it show some minimal glue-remains on its back simply caused by having glued into an album or scrapbook once (as can be noticed on the pictures). This example originates from a 'Musterbuch' (or: sample-book) that was period-compiled by the producing-company 'Offermann' as was based in the town of Ratingen. I deem that this attractive - and scarcely seen! - WH 'Kriegsmarine'-related breast-eagle is accordingly priced!
