Single, mid-war-period WH (Heeres): 'M43'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the black-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier der Pionier-Truppen'
This is a neat - albeit regrettably single! - (I deem) mid-war-period, so-called: 'M43'-pattern WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Uneroffizier der Pionier-Truppen' (or: NCO ie. junior-sergeant who served within the army engineer-troops) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 12 cms. in length as more often seen - has the neat 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these mid- ie. later-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstrap - which originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - shows the (typical) bluish-grey-coloured ie. sub-dued NCO-braid attached and comes mounted onto its functional tongue. The piece shows some obvious age, wear and or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat 'M43'-pattern NCO-type 'Pioniere'-shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier der Pionier-Truppen'!
