Neat, zinc-based WH (Heeres ie. 'Infanterie'-ralted) ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'I.G.E.KP.1.' (ie. 'Infanterie-Geschütz-Ersatz-Kompanie 1') Neat, zinc-based WH (Heeres ie. 'Infanterie'-ralted) ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'I.G.E.KP.1.' (ie. 'Infanterie-Geschütz-Ersatz-Kompanie 1')

Neat, zinc-based WH (Heeres ie. 'Infanterie'-ralted) ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'I.G.E.KP.1.' (ie. 'Infanterie-Geschütz-Ersatz-Kompanie 1')

This is a neat example of a typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based WH (Heeres) and/or: 'Infanterie'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'I.G.E.KP.1.' (and as such being a disc that was intended for a soldier (or NCO) who served within the first company of the: 'Infanterie-Geschütz-Ersatz-Kompanie' numbered: '1' being (I deem) a specific infantry-related formation) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The disc - which is executed in a clear and fine letter-type - clearly shows the soldiers'-blood-group-type ('type B') and is still a bit dirty and/or stained but was never cleaned nor polished. It comes as worn and/or stored for decades and originates from a private-household somewhere in Germany. Simply a nice and honest 'Infanterie'-related ID-disc that belonged to a soldier (ie. NCO or officer) who served within a specific and not that often encountered infantry-related 'Geschütze'-company. I deem that this neat disc would certainly merit further investigation!
