This is an attractive - and truly used- ie. carefully cap-removed! - WH (Heeres) officers'-pattern so-called: 'M41/43-pattern'-cap-eagle/cocarde (ie. cap-trapezoid or: 'Mützentrapez') as was specifically produced for usage on the: 'M-41 o. 43'-model officers'-type field-caps (ie. 'Einheitsfeldmützen für Offziere') and that comes in a clearly used- and carefully confectioned-, condition. The piece is executed in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave, 'flat-wire'-pattern and was carefully pre-folded and/or: once cap-attached. The piece is executed in silverish-coloured linnen onto a field-grey-coloured (and/or also linnen-based) background: it still shows some minimal thread- ie. stitching-remains (as can be seen on the pictures).
