Neat, early-period DAF- (ie. 'Deutscher Arbeits Front'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate the: 'Tag der deutschen Arbeit - 1. Mai 1933'
This is a neat DAF- (ie. 'Deutscher Arbeits Front'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that was specifically issued to commemorate a: '1st of May'-rally ie. gathering named the: 'Tag der deutschen Arbeit - 1. Mai 1933' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in darker-brown-coloured- (ie. bronze-toned) metal (I deem copper-toned, zinc ie. 'tin') - shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (it is just a tiny bit dirty ie. stained). The piece shows the typical DAF-styled cogwheel-symbol within its middle a swastika-symbol surrounded by the abovementioned text. The day-badge - which is totally void of a makers'-mark - comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin-/catch set-up. Simply a neat DAF- (ie. 'Deutscher Arbeits Front'-) related day-badge that is accordingly priced!
