This is an attractive - fully matching and just moderately used! - pair of 'standard-issued'-pattern, officers'-type shoulderboards having the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant der Panzer- o. Panzerjäger-Truppen' (or: lieutnant first-class who served within a specific tank- ie. anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyer-unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboards which are both approximately 10,3 cms. sized in length are piped in the neat bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected. The boards show both a neat (golden-coloured, 'Buntmetall'-based, Gothic-styled- and/or: smaller-sized) so-called: 'P'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and single (equally-styled) pip period-attached denoting that the pair was intended for a junior-officer who held the rank of: 'Oberleutnant'. All four devices show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish. The straps - that show moderate age, wear and or staining - have the greyish-silver-coloured- ie. truly sub-dued 'upperdecks': they never had any tongues attached and were clearly used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern (as can be seen on the pictures). These boards could be used on the regular field-grey-coloured tunics but also saw usage onto the typical, black-coloured Panzer-type 'wrap-around'-tunics. The pair was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such: it came together with the pair of officers-type, 'Panzer/Panzerjäger'-shoulderboards I offer under number: #59751: both insignia-sets were recently found a private-household in Germany and belonged to the same officer who wore these and stored these for decades. Simply an attractive 'Heeres' officer-type and neatly cyphered shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Oberleutnant der Panzer- o. Panzerjäger-Truppen'!
