This is an attractive - 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' and actually scarcely found! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) machine-embroidered, trade- ie. special-career-patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for usage onto the various blue-coloured attire as was intended for: 'Unterpersonal der Stäbe' (ie. naval-staff-members) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and as stated above simply never used- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'- and or/never tunic-attached-), condition. The badge - which has an additional linnen-based- and greysih-blue-toned backing attached - signified that the bearer was a member serving within the naval staff. The piece is nicely machine-embroidered onto a darker-blue-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and simply shows no age nor wear (just some minimal storage-age ie. staining is present and visible). Simply a very attractive - and unusually found! - Kriegsmarine-'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
