Commemorative, TR-period 'DJ'- (ie. 'Deutsche Jägerschaft'-) related plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. tragbare Plakette') depicting the typical 'DJ'-logo (ie. andler) and showing the engraved date: '1938'

This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often seen! - 'light-weight' and golden-bronze toned- (and I deem 'Cupal'-based) - 'DJ'- (ie. 'Deutsche Jägerschaft'-) related plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. tragbare Plakette') depicting on its front the typical 'DJ'-logo (ie. andler) and showing on its back the engraved date: '1938' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly issued-), condition. The neat - medium-sized- and/or light-weight-piece (having an approximate diameter of 4 cms.) has truly pronounced detail and was never cleaned nor polished: it has maintained a neat typical, bright golden-bronze- (ie. greenish-) toned age-patina (but also shows some minimal tarnish as can be seen on the pictures). The piece came as stored for decades and shows some obvious storage-age and marks. These attractive - I deem - semi-official - presentation-pieces were presumably used as some sort of awards and were handed-out during a specific hunting-event. Simply an attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - TR-period, 'DJ'- (ie. 'Deutsche Jägerschaft'-related) medal ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. tragbare Auszeichnungsplakette' that is accordingly priced!
