Neat - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type (dual-piped) shoulderboards as intended for a medium-ranked administrative-official ie. officer with the rank of: 'Oberleutnant' (ie.: 'Beambte des höheren Dienstes')

The neat WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards - which were specifically intended for lower- (ie. medium-) ranked officers having the comparable rank of: 'Oberleutnant' (or: lieutnant first-class) - are constructed from the specific, darker-green-coloured- and/or 'smooth-like'- (ie. moleskin-type-) wool and show the secondary (typical light-blue-coloured) branchcolour as to be expected. Moreover, do they show a matching pair of (golden-toned- and regular-sized) pips attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards never had any tongues and were clearly intended as (and used as!) a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards measure approximately 11 cms. in length each. The pair is clearly worn (and was carefully tunic-removed!) and does show obvious wear, age and/or staining (moreover, does the pair show some moth-damage which is, however, only visible on the backs as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that these Luftwaffe-related, officers'-type shoulderboards as were intended for lower- (ie. medium-) ranked administrative-officials are not that easily found. I deem that I have priced this attractive pair according to its minimally moth-damaged condition!
