Attractive - and/or matching! - pair of mid-war-period, so-called: 'M43'-pattern, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps that comes with its attached 'Übershube'-pair as was intended for an: 'Unteroffizier des Heeres-Nachrichten-Abteilungs 644'
The attractive - and fully 'text-book' and/or fully matching! - NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair is piped in the desirable bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured branchcolour and measures approximately 12 cms. in length. The straps have the bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured- and/or: 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more often encountered with these mid-war-period shoulderstrap-pairs) and were as such intended for usage by a junior-sergeant who served within the army signals-unit, numbered: '644' (something that can naturally easily be deducted from the attached 'Übershube'-pair). The shoulderstraps - which originate from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I acquired some time ago - are typical 'standard-issued'-examples that have the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks'. They show the 'standard-pattern', silverish-coloured NCO-braid attached and were - I deem - only moderately used ie. worn: they do show wear, age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues and came with a (matching) pair of (field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based) so-called: slip-ons (ie. 'Übershuben') attached bearing both the signification: '644' (as executed in equally bright-yellow-coloured, so-called: 'Kurbel- stickerei' done in wool as can be seen on the pictures). Both the shoulderstraps and/or: 'Übershuben' are in a wonderful- and/or totally undamaged condition and will be hard to be upgraded as can be seen on the pictures. These desirable 'M43'-patter-, army-signals-related, NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the 'zitronengelber'-coloured branchcolour can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply a very attractive pair that belonged to an: 'Unteroffizier des Heeres-Nachrichten-Abteilungs 644'!
