Neat - albeit regrettably single - WH (Heeres) 'cyphered' officers'-type shoulderboard as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant des Heeres Bau-Bataillon (Z) 69'
This is a neat - albeit regrettably single - WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard as executed in the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour as was (I deem) intended for - and with certainty worn by! - an: 'Oberleutnant des Heeres Bau-Bataillon (Z) 69' (or lieutnant first-class who served within a specific construction-bataillon numbered '69' that fell under the '69. Infanterie-Division') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. tunic-removed-), condition. The board - which is executed in the 'smooth'-like- and/or black-coloured wool (aka: 'moleskin') - measures approximately 11 cms. in length and has a fairly 'sub-dued'- ie. silver-grey-coloured 'upperdeck' (that shows some minimal age and/or wear). The board comes mounted onto its smaller-sized tongue and shows a pair of (older styled) golden-toned '6'- and '9'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern) and/or equally golden-toned- (and larger-sized) pip period-attached: all three devices are only minimally tarnished and/or stained but are still very nice and/or pronounced. Simply a neat officers'-type, 'cyphered' shoulderboard that was worn by an: 'Oberleutnant des Heeres Bau-Bataillon (Z) 69': too bad it is only a single piece!
