Commemorative, tin-based- and/or: golden-bronze-coloured (I deem) N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' depicting an eagle-device resting on a sword and that is entitled: 'Stirb und Werde - Schlageterkundgebung - Düsseldorf - 26.27.5.1934'
The neat - and fairly early-period- ie. '1934'-dated - day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in reddish-bronze-coloured- (ie. tin- ie. copper-based) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has been truly nicely preserved. The shield-shaped badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' depicts an eagle-device resting on a sword and that is entitled: 'Stirb und Werde - Schlageterkundgebung - Düsseldorf - 26.27.5.1934' (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is very detailed and retains most of its fairly bright and/or: minimally tarnished reddish-bronze-coloured finish. It should be noted that all N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply a neat - and not that often seen! - N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' that is accordingly priced!
