(Pre) WWI-period, bordeaux-red-coloured (albeit empty) etui as was intended to store a: 'Bayern Militär-Verdienstkreuz 2. Klasse' (that shows the makers'-designation: 'Hofkunstanstalt Jacob Leser - Straubing')

This is a neat (pre) WWI-period, bordeaux-red-coloured (albeit empty) two-pieced etui as was intended to store a: 'Bayern Militär-Verdienstkreuz 2. Klasse' being a nicely preserved example that shows the makers'-designation: 'Hofkunstanstalt Jacob Leser - Straubing' printed onto its back and that comes in an overall nicely preserved, condition. The bordeaux-red-coloured- and/or carton-based etui comes in a nice and/or moderately used condition: it retains a fully preserved light-blue-coloured interior in place (which does show some minimal age and/or staining as can be seen on the pictures). The etui shows a somewhat faded (albeit golden-toned) printed text on the back of the outer-part that reads: 'Hofkunstanstalt Jacob Leser - Straubing' (as can be seen on the pictures). The case just needs a 'Bayern Militär-Verdienstkreuz 2. Klasse'-to complete!
