Bright-silver-toned, so-called: commemorative-medal (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille') entitled: 'Arbeit adelt den Menschen - Adolf Hitler - 1924 - 1934'
This is an attractive - and actually only once before encountered! - bright-silver-toned, so-called: commemorative-medal (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille') entitled: 'Arbeit adelt den Menschen - Adolf Hitler - 1924 - 1934' (and sub-titled: 'Zur Erinnerung an das 10 Jähr. Bestehen der Schützengesellschaft Bad Elster 1924 - 1934) and that comes as issued and/or stored for decades. The neat - somewhat larger-sized- and regular-weight-piece has an approximate diameter of 4,2 cms. and has truly pronounced detail as to be expected. It was IMO never cleaned nor polished and has maintained a neat (somewhat frosted-) silver-toned age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The medal - depicting a detailed 'Reichsadler'-device with swastika - came without ribbon and shows a clearly visible makers'-designation that reads: 'K. Würster - Marneukirchen'. The - with certainty unusual - piece originates from a private household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and stored for decades (see pictures). Simply an attractive and with certainty unusually encountered, TR-period, semi-official-, shooting-contest medal ie. 'Erinnerungs-Medaille' that is IMO accordingly priced!
