Commemorative, silver-toned-, WH (Heeres) related 'tinnie', being a non-maker-marked example, depicting a steel-helmet and sword-device with under that the text: '1935 - IR 19 - Wiedersehensfeier'
The attractive - and with certainty not that often encountered! - square-shaped badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in bright-silver-toned- (and/or IMO tin-based-) metal: it shows some minimal wear and/or minimal age. The badge comes mounted on its functional pin-/catch set-up and has IMO never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains most of its typical, fairly shiny silver-coloured finish. The 'tinnie' - which is medium-sized and has an approximate height of 4,2 cms. - depicts a detailed illustration of a steel-helmet and sword-device (flanked by two swastikas) with under that the text: '1935 - IR 19 - Wiedersehensfeier' making this 'tinnie' an example was issued in order to commemorate the 20th aniversary of the existence of the infantry regiment 19 in 1935. Simply an attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - WH (Heeres) related 'tinnie'!
