This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) pattern, so-called: 'Luftschutz' (ie. RLB-) side-cap-device ('Abzeichen für Schiffchen') being a detailed example as executed in so-called: 'BeVo'-weave-pattern on a greyish-blue-coloured background and that comes in an overall very nice (ie. virtually mint- ie. unissued- and/or never side-cap-attached-), condition. These attractive side-cap-devices were worn on the various (Luftwaffe) blue-coloured side-caps ('Schiffchen') throughout the war. The nicely detailed patch on offer here - which has an approximate diameter ie. 'wingspan' of 9,4 cms. - simply shows no wear nor damage whatsoever and comes as straightly 'cut-of the role' (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - 'Reichsluftschutzbund'-related, cap-device that is IMO accordingly priced!
