Attractive, 2-pieced 'grouping' comprising of two 3-pieced-, WWII-period ribbon-bars (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspangen') each showing the ribbons for a: 'KvK II. Kl. m. Schw.', a: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe' and a: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal
This is an attractive - and not that easily encountered! - 2-pieced 'grouping' comprising of two 3-pieced-, WWII-period ribbon-bars (ie. 'Feld- o. Band- spangen') each showing the ribbons for respectively a: 'Kriegsverdienst- kreuz der II. Klasse' (or war-merits-cross second-class with swords), a: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe' (or: air-raid warden medal 2nd class) and a: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal (or: 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938', as was awarded for the annexation of Czechoslovakia). Both 'Feld- o. Bandspangen' belonged to the same soldier (who apparently) wore one piece more often than the other: something that is easily recognisable by the different aging ie. visible staining. Both pieces show their three ribbons of the regular (ie. larger-sized) ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 2,5 cms. each as is more often encountered (the pieces have both a total length of approximately 7,5 cms.). Both 'Spangen' come in a nice condition overall and are of course both fully functional: one piece is backed with black-coloured wool whereas the other it is not backed but mounted on a chromed- and/or metal-based 'backing-plate' (as can be seen on the pictures). The attached devices show some minimal age ie. tarnish but have been also nicely preserved. Both examples were IMO moderately worn ie. used: both do show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. The asking-price is naturally for the 2-pieced 'grouping' comprising of two 3-pieced ribbon-bars. Simply an attractive 2-pieced 'Band- ie. Feldspange'-grouping that is ideally fitted to decorate almost any tunic and that is IMO accordingly priced!
