Superb, Tombak- (ie. 'Buntmetall'-) based- and/or (unusually!) maker-marked example of a WH (Luftwaffe) 'Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger in Gold' as was produced by the: 'G.H. Osang'-company

This is a very attractive - and truly pronounced! - tombak- (ie. 'Buntmetall'-) based (and unusually clearly maker-marked!) example of a WH (Luftwaffe) 'Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger in Gold' (or: golden-class bomber-pilots'-clasp ie. FFS) as was produced by the: 'G.H. Osang'-company and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just minimally used- and/or hardly worn-), condition. The neat piece has simply extraordinary detail and retains most of its period-applied- (and truly bright!), golden-toned finish: the blackened-silver-coloured- (and equally 'Buntmetall'-based) eagle-ie. bomb-device (which is additionally attached to the clasp) is equally detailed and also retains all of its blackened-silver-toned - and/or minimal 'tarnished' - finish. The piece is as stated a maker-marked example that was produced by the: 'G.H. Osang'-company: it does show great character and/or fine, pronounced detail. The clasp is naturally in great shape ie. order: the (golden-coloured- ie. also 'Buntmetall'-based) pin-/ie. pin-attachment, period-catch and/or single rivet are in fine (and/or undamaged nor repaired-) order. The clasp has never been cleaned nor polished and has a neat and/or minimally tarnished 'age-patina'. It originated from a private-household in Germany and was never before part of any collection. Simply a neat - and not that often encountered! - fairly 'high-class' Luftwaffe-award ie. FFS in Gold that is I deem accordingly priced!
