This is a very attractive - I deem just moderately used and/or worn and actually truly rarely found! - WH (Heeres) neatly hand-embroidered- and/or: typical officers'- (ie. 'variant'-) pattern so-called: 'Jäger'-arm-badge (as was specifically intended for usage by an officer serving within the 'Jäger-Truppen' ie. mountain-troops) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued- and as stated above just moderately worn- ie. I deem once tunic-attached-), condition. The very attractive armbadge - which shows extraordinary embroidery (as can be seen on the pictures) - is executed on a piece of darker-green-coloured wool and shows a neatly hand-embroidered 'Eichenlaub'-branches that are beautifully hand-embroidered in greenish- (ie. multi-) toned, linnen-based 'braid' (and encircled by a silverish-toned 'braid'). The piece is, moreover, not additionally 'backed'. The badge shows some minimal wear- and/or usage but is void of any damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very nice example of such an officers'- (ie. 'variant'-) pattern type 'Jäger'-arm-badge that is priced according to its unmistaken rarity and/or desirability: I deem that I did price this attractive - and possibly unique! - arm-patch, accordingy!
