WH Czech-occupation- (ie. 'Anschluss'-) medal: '1. Oktober 1938' that comes stored in its period pouch by the maker: 'Katz & Deyhle - Pforzheim'

This particular medal (ie. 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938') was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938' and is a very attractive and/or detailed- (albeit issued- but simply hardly worn!) example having great pronounced detail. The medal on offer here came with its (once-attached!) ribbon (ie. Bandabschnitt) and retains a nicely preserved, (bright)golden-yellow-toned finish showing hardly any tarnish nor staining: the award had never been cleaned nor polished and truly retains all of its period golden-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The detailed medal came with- (ie. came stored in-) its typical, beige-coloured (and typical 'Zellstoff'-based) pouch (which comes in an equally nicely preserved condition): this pouch is void of any text on its front (as more often) and shows on its back the printed makers'-designation: 'Katz & Deyhle - Pforzheim'. This pouch is also void of any real damage but does show some minimal age- and/or handling-marks (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and fully complete! - Czech 'Anschluss'-medal and 'Prager Burg Spange'-set that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
