Superb, 'Truppentraditionsabzeichen' ie. 'Ehrennadel der 3. Kavallerie-Division' (aka 'Schwedter Adler') being executed in golden-toned, copper-based metal

This is an attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - so-called: 'Truppentraditionsabzeichen' ie. 'Ehrennadel der 3. Kavallerie-Division' (aka 'Schwedter Adler') as executed in golden-toned ie. copper-based, metal and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem once visor-cap-attached-), condition. The piece was recently found as such and was with certainty kept as such as a 'souvenir' for decades: it was never before part of a collection. This rarely seen 'Traditionsabzeichen' (or 'Ehrennadel' as officially known) is as stated executed in golden-toned, copper-based, metal and came mounted onto both its (functional but once-bent) copper-toned prongs in place. The small-sized badge - only sized: 2,5 x 2,5 cms. - depicts an eagle (and is in German language known as 'Schwedter Adler') an was worn on the golden-yellow piped cavalry visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen'). The badge as such is actually quite old and part of a long-lasting tradition. (In 1815, it was given as a traditions-badge to the Prussian Army's '1. Brandenburgisches Dragoner-Regiment 2 ' (= 1st Brandenburgian Dragoons Regiment numbered 2), which was garrisoned in the town of Schwedt in Brandenburg; hence the name). The badge on offer here has never been polished and shows great detail: it was I deem never cleaned and is just a bit tarnished. As stated above, was the badge found together with an early-war-period (ie. 'M36'-type ie. 'rounded'-style-), WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap, piped in the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelber'-) coloured branchcolour. As possiblly known were these (semi-official!) badges also properly entered in both the: 'Wehrpass' and 'Soldbuch': they also were handed-out with a semi-official award-document. Simply an attractive 'Kavallerie'-related: 'Truppentraditions-Abzeichen': only the second such rare badge I ever had on offer!
