WH (LW) aluminium-based: 'Brustadler für Sommerrock' (being a neatly maker- ie. 'A'- or: 'Assmann'-marked specimen)

This is an attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - WH (Luftwaffe) aluminium-based breast-eagle as was specifically intended for usage on the white summer-tunics (ie. 'Brustadler für Sommerrock') being a detailed- and nicely maker- (ie. 'A'- or: 'Assmann'-marked) specimen that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The eagle is - as stated above - a very detailed example (of the second pattern) that is constructed of fairly shiny (ie. 'off-factory'-polished-) aluminium-based metal. The eagle - which has naturally a functional and/or non-altered pin ie. catch(set-up) - has - as stated above - great pronounced detail and was never cleaned nor polished: it is still a tiny bit dirty ie. stained and does show some minimal wear-marks(as can be seen on the pictures). As possibly known are also these breast-eagles regrettably copied (most times being the aluminium ones which are clearly stamped 'A' in the centre on their backs): this one is as stated above of course a 100% garuanteed original example that originates from a private-household and that was never before part of any collection. Next to the clear (and superimposed) 'A'-makers'-designation does the piece also show a: 'D.R.G.M.'-patent-pending-mark in its upper-right corner (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very decorative - and not that commonly observed! - summer-type, aluminium-based LW breast-eagle as was produced by the 'Assmann'-company!
