Zinc-based, WH (Heeres) 'Heeres-Infanterie'- (ie. 'GrossDeutschland-Division'-)related ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Stab. 1. F.R. GD' and that comes as issued and/or worn

This is an attractive - and actually fairly rarely encountered! - example of a silver-coloured- and/or typical zinc-based, WH (Heeres) 'Infanterie'- ie. 'GrossDeutschland-Division'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Stab. 1. F.R. GD' and that as such belonged to a soldier (ie. NCO or even officer) who served within the staff ie. 1st company of the: 'Fussilier-Regiment Grossdeutschland' (ie. infanterie unit) within the: 'GrossDeutschland-Division'. The disc comes in an overall nice (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition (and is executed in somewhat crudely executed letter-type as more often): it does show the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn and shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The disc originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered and was as such most certainly issued, worn- and/or stored for decades. The disc also shows the bearers'-blood-group-type (Type 0) and shows a clearly stamped (very low) bearers-numeral that reads: '88'). Simply a 100% garuanteed original 'Heeres-Infanterie o. GrossDeutschland-Division'-related ID-disc that is priced according to its unmistaken rarity and/or desirability!
