Unusuallly seen, officers'-pattern police- (ie. 'Schutzpolizei' o. Gendarmerie'-) related, neatly hand-embroidered so-called: trade- ie. special-career patch (ie. 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') depicting two silver-coloured, crossed flags

This is a truly attractive - and with certainty very unusually seen! - example of an (I deem) officers'-pattern, police- (ie. 'Schutzpolizei' o. Gendarmerie'-) related, neatly hand-embroidered so-called: trade- ie. special-career patch (ie. 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') depicting two silver-coloured and crossed flags as was specifically intended for: 'berittene Truppen' (ie. horse-mounted police-troops) and that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem just moderately used- ie. worn- and carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The patch is neatly hand-embroidered in (minimally tarnished) silver-toned braid onto a field-grey- (ie. typical police-) coloured- and/or (officers-pattern!) woolen-based background. The patch - which is nicely 'backed' with a piece of greyish-coloured thin-shaped paper as more often encountered - hardly shows wear nor age and comes in a wonderful condition overall: it does show, however, some minimal stitching-remains (ie. holes). Simply a neat - and actually quite scarcely encountered! - (I deem) officers'-pattern police- (ie. 'Schutzpolizei o. Gendarmerie'-) related trade- and/or special-career patch that does not come often for sale!
