Superb - and never before seen! - WH (Luftwaffe) related, commemorative-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Plakette') entitled: 'Luftkriegsschule - 3 - Werder aH' and bearing the period-engraved text: 'Major Toepper - 14.8.39 - 22.8.42'

This is a very attractive - silverish-toned and with certainty quite scarely found! - medium-sized (ie. having an approximate diameter of 5,5 cms.) WH (Luftwaffe) related, commemorative-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Plakette') showing on its front a (detailed!) LW-eagle-device and that is entitled: 'Luftkriegsschule - 3 - Werder aH' and bearing the period-engraved text: 'Major Toepper - 14.8.39 - 22.8.42' and on its back showing an engraved signature of an (unidentifed) 'Oberst u. Kommandeur' and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved, condition. The very detailed commemorative-plaque (which was presumably awarded to Major Toepper in the year 1942 for rendered, loyal service) is executed in typical, greyish-silver-toned (and I deem 'Feinzink'-based) metal: it is void of a makers'-designation. Nevertheless, is thos a very attractive, WH (Luftwaffe) related 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Plakette' that will be very hard to be upgraded and that is with certainty accordingly priced: I deem that this interesting piece would merit some further investigative work!
