Commemorative, multi-coloured enamelled N.S.R.L.-related plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Kfz.-plakette') showing a detailed 'N.S.R.L.'-logo and enamelled text: 'Deutsche-Amateur-Box-Meisterschaften - Stettin-Königsberg - 1940'

This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often- ie. most certainly scarcely encountered! - multi-coloured (and neatly enamelled!) so-called: N.S.R.L.- (ie. 'NS Reichsbund für Leibesübungen'-) related plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Kfz.-plakette') showing a detailed (typical) 'N.S.R.L.'-logo coupled with two town-shields and (partly) enamelled text that simply reads: 'Deutsche-Amateur-Box-Meisterschaften - Stettin-Königsberg - 1940' and that comes as stored for decades and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved- (and totally undamaged!), condition. The neat circular-shaped piece has an approximate diameter of 8,2 cms. and has truly pronounced detail and was never cleaned nor polished: it has maintained a neat and somewhat 'darkened' age-patina (but also shows some minimal tarnish and usage-marks as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a clearly-present makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'H. Aurich - Dresden' (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece came as issued and/or stored for decades but was clearly used and/or handled over the years as can be seen on the pictures. These attractive (I deem) semi-official N.S.R.L.-related presentation-pieces were most likely used as some sort of awards and were (presumably) handed-out during a specific N.S.R.L.-related box-competition (named the: 'Deutsche-Amateur-Box-Meisterschaften' as was held in the year 1940). This particular example originates from a long-year collection of various such decorative prices and car-plaques I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive - and with certainty very unusually encountered! - presentation-piece ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Kraftfahrzeug-Plakette' that might merit some further investigative work!
