This is an attractive - quite scarcely seen and I deem just moderately used- ie. worn! - example of a WWI-period, golden-toned- and/or typical copper- (ie. partly nickle-chrome-based), 'Osmanisches Reich'-related belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften') that shows the typical (and separately-attached) front-plate depicting a typical 'star-device' coupled with a so-called: 'türkischer Halbmond' and that comes in a moderately used and/or overall nicely preserved, condition. The neat buckle truly retains all of its somewhat 'shiny'-styled, golden-coloured finish without showing any defaults: it was presumably period cleaned (ie. polished) and is just a tiny bit dirty ie. stained (as can be seen on the pictures). The inside of the buckle only shows some dust caused by over more than 100 years of storage only. The buckle itself is unmarked (something that is more often observed) as can be noticed on the pictures). The neat piece was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. Simply an attractive, WWI-period-example that is priced according to its used albeit still overall nicely preserved, condition!
